Breaking News
A day old….but I had a really decent excuse. We have only gone and done it again. At the British Pie Awards 2013 our “Chicken, Sage & Stuffing Pie” won a Bronze. Not bad as it makes it the 3rd best Chicken Pie in the whole of Briatain.
Happy times.
Sizzling Sausage Shoot Out
Sunday 23rd June will witness an epic contest of sausage supremacy. A contest is to be held to discover the finest sausage amongst the villages of Richmond. Yes, finally. What we have all been waiting for. The Diamond Jubilee Gardens, The Embankment in Twickenham is the place to be, filled with music, mash, beer, and of course, sausages. A date for the diary.
Pie and a Pint
Come and join us this Saturday for a “Pie and a Pint”. We are celebrating St. George’s Day (a few days early) together with our friends at Real Ale Ltd. There will be a great selection of beers and pies, our usual barbecue and wonderful spring sunshine. Starts at 11.00am.
That's Odd
Work has come to a halt as all the staff are out in the street looking up at the strange object in the sky. Chef, who is older than most and can remember how life was before the ice age, informs us that it is called the Sun and used to provide us with heat. No one believes him and as we head back to work.
Menu and other stuff to follow.
Kew Market
It is the 1st Sunday of the month so it’s Kew market time. See you all there and we have our Black Pudding plus all our regular favourites.
